Meet James Cooney Co-Presenter
James Cooney is the Co-Founder and Director of the Wolfbrook Property Group.
James graduated from Lincoln University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Commerce in Valuation and Property Management. He began his career at Simes, where he worked as a commercial agent and played a key role in the post-earthquake rebuild, preselling more than $30 million in industrial units.
In 2013, James met fellow property investor Steve Brooks, and the pair quickly began collaborating on property opportunities. United by a shared passion for real estate, they went on to build one of New Zealand’s largest privately owned residential property portfolios, today owning more than 400 homes alongside several commercial buildings.
Driven by their belief that more New Zealanders should have access to smart, long-term property investment, James and Steve founded Wolfbrook to help others participate in the same opportunities they had built for themselves
